Since the pandemia the online crimes has risen visibly. The real estate market is not an exeption. Many people suffer from those scammers who promise a flat for rent and then they disseapear.

There are several victims in year in Debrecen too from the student to the engineer, from the Asian to the European. The scamers are not Hungarian citizens. The police have to work crossborder and also ask the community platforms to provide info. So better to skip the cheaters. It is not difficult to recognize their profiles. The names are mostly European but not always Hungarian. They use one profile to cheat people in Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest and Debrecen too.

The profiles are offen closed or offer few informations. They dont have office. They dont have properties. They just stole the photos sometimes from overseas. They dont know Debrecen properly. You can test them.
